The Subject Line

Just like English, the subject line should be short – especially when the email is formal.

For example:

  • Meeting on Friday – Reunión el viernes
  • Resume / curriculum summary – Resumen curricular
  • Work permit – Permiso laboral
  • Quotation – Presupuesto

On the other hand, there are several common phrases that are always used when writing an email. You can use them to start drafting the mail, and also to finish it. Of course, according to what you are writing.
